SELECT Shingle Roofers must meet the following standards:

1. 50% of ou r installers, plus all job supervisors, must have current credentials as CertainTeed Master Shingle Applicators™.
2. At least one employee must be a CertainTeed Quality Master™.
3. Both workers’ compensation insurance (as required by law) and liability insurance covering roofing must be currently in force, and proof of this insurance must be provided to CertainTeed routinely as policies are renewed.
4. Company must have been in business for at least five years, OR have been a Shingle Master Company for at least one year.

The above standards are CertainTeed's requirements to be designated a SELECT Shingle Roofer.
