Reroofing Specifications

To protect your property and give you the roof replacement you deserve:

A. All work will be performed to meet or exceed local building codes.

B. All work will be performed to meet or exceed manufacturer’s standards.

C. Trucks will not leave drive areas. Lawns and shrubbery will be protected with tarps and plywood landing pads as needed.

D. Roof decking will be checked. Any rotten, brittle, delaminated or warped wood will be replaced at the current unit price.

E. All pipe vent collars will be replaced unless otherwise noted.

F. All existing roof vent covers will be replaced unless otherwise noted.

G. Brick chimney flashing will be removed and replaced using durable factory painted metal and thirty (30) year poly-urethane caulk. Wood sided (boxed) chimneys will be reflashed. Sidewall step flashing will be replaced as indicated on proposal. All other flashing will be inspected, renailed and resealed. Cover flashing at brick walls and brick chimneys will be “cut” into masonry.
